Phantom Fish has now released their RSS news reader Byline that allows you to browse and read your Google Reader feeds while offline on your iPhone and iPod Touch.
Even when there is no internet connection Byline will allow you to read your updated news feeds in full, meaning full offline access to web page. According to Milo Byrd, the developer of Byline “For the first time, you can easily save web pages and read them offline on your iPhone. The beauty is that you can do this with absolutely any web page, not just items from your news feeds. It’s perfect for flights, subway journeys, and – if you’re an iPod Touch owner – for those long dry spells between WiFi zones.”
You can view headlines and summaries in your Google Reader, and tapping on the headline will allow you to read the whole web page. You archive it for later offline browsing by tapping or starring the story in the reader.
Byline is available for purchase through the iTunes Application Store for $9.99.
