Official Digg app coming to the iPhone
By admin • Oct 5th, 2009 • Category: Third party applicationsOne of the most popular social bookmarking services out there, Digg, is reported to be working on their official iPhone App after it got revealed by “accident” by founder Kevin Rose during the FOWA conference in London.
Kevin Rose was at the Future of Web Apps conference in London as a guest speaker, playing on his iPhone when a few observant participants noticed he was playing with what is to become the official Digg app for the iPhone. Following his presentation he was asked by bloggers Arnt Eriksen and Thomas Moen, who noticed him playing with the app, and revealed that there is indeed an official Digg App in the making.
At the moment there is no further information about possible release date for the official Digg iPhone App, but we are keeping all eyes and ears open and will come back with reports and reviews once the Digg iPhone App hits the iTunes App Store.
At the same conference Kevin Rose could also reveal that there are changes in the making for how Digg displays articles, perhaps moving from one homepage to having multiple category led homepages.
