By admin • Mar 22nd, 2009 • Category: Third party applications

Nimbuzz themselves calls their latest version of the VOiP application for the iPhone and iPod Touch the most comprehensive application available to date, therefore beating the likes of Fring and Truphone that has been delivering Skype calls for the iPod Touch and the iPhone for a few months now.

Nimbuzz is a free mobile social messenger application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that is available to download from the iTunes App Store, providing instant messaging and VOiP across such popular platforms as Skype, Live Messenger, Yahoo messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, AIM, as well as social networks such as Facebook and MySpace.

The new additions to the latest version of Nimbuzz includes the dial-pad and the ability to make VOiP calls to landlines and mobile phones through Skype Out and Nimbuzz’s selection of SIP providers, such as Gizmo5, sipgate, and Vyke. All of this is available to iPod Touch users through WiFi, while for iPhone users it also brings the ability to make VOiP calls using the Nimbuzz dial-up VOiP in over 50 countries worldwide - thereby bridging the iPhone 3G connection VOiP gap.
