Oceans 14: The iPod card count trick
By admin • Feb 16th, 2009 • Category: Third party applicationsIt seems that the iPhone and iPod Touch has now turned into a problem for the casinos around the world, as like taken straight out of one of the Oceans ‘many’ movies, applications that help you count cards in blackjack are now available to download from the iTunes App Store creating headache for gambling regulators in Las Vegas and other gambling capitols.
Just like Ocean himself you might find yourself in jail if you use any of these applications when playing blackjack, as although counting cards is not a felony in itself, using a device like this to help you count cards is.
After having a look at the iTunes App Store right now i found at least 3 applications that claim to help you count cards in blackjack, varying in price from £0.59 to £2.39. Having not downloaded and tested these applications i will not make a judgment as to how good they are and which one is the best one, at least not until i have made my millions of them myself!
Next time you find yourself at a casino you might find yourself having to leave your iPhone or iPod Touch with security - as we know, the casinos don’t like to loose!
