When Teac first launched the original AURB speaker dock it quickly received some much deserved attention, and based on first impression i think the new DAB version will get the same; meet the Teac SR-80iDAB Mini AURB.
The Teac SR-80iDAB Mini AURB looks just as stylish as its big brother and the color options makes it easier to pick the speaker dock that best suits your room’s decor and your taste. As most other speaker docks these days it is compatible with the latest iPod and iPhone models as well as most of the older ones, and will of course charge your device when it is docked.
Teac has been clever and added some additional functionality that is becoming popular amongst speaker dock customers, including DAB/FM radio, giving you access to a lot of digital radio stations, and a USB connection for playback of mp3 files directly from a storage device.
Inside the Teac SR-80iDAB mini AURB you will find tweeter/woofer with 2 x 15W power output, so this system packs a bit more power than your average DAB speaker dock, and it features the Teac proprietary MAXX Audio DSP bass enhancement system.
We will hopefully be back with a full review in the near future.
