An application analysis company has recently spotted application testing of what is believed to be the next generation iPod Touch 3.0. Now this is not the first time that references to the 3rd generation iPod Touch has been made, but it is the first testing with devices referred to as “iPod 3,1″ has been spotted.

For those of you watching the Gadgetshow right now you have seen that the iPod Touch is the preferred handheld gaming device, and even more interesting is the rumors that the 3rd generation iPod Touch 3.0 will hit the markets sometime this year.
