If you are on a tight budget and in need of a new pair of in-ear headphones, then why not check out the Soundmagic PL30 in-ear headphones which can be grabbed at some bargain prices these days.
The Soundmagic PL30 in-ear headphones look a class over what they are priced, and with a variety of buds in the package to choose from you should be able to find those that have the right fit for your ears, which is one of the key factors when it comes to in-ear headphones as they can easily start irritating your ears after prolonged use.
Out of the box they are described by the manufacturer as ‘big brand quality’ but at a much more affordable price, featuring professional IEM fit and tuneable bass control, turning them into ‘robust earphones designed for everyday use’.
When it comes to sound performance they are described as well balanced with good detail. WhatHiFi came close to give them a top rating based on performance and value for money, falling just short due better valued rivals.
I will be testing these in the near future so will get back with a full review and let you know if i agree with the above.
The AKG K450 headphones have come down quite a bit in price compared to when they first came onto the market, so you could be landing a bargain with one of these. They are currently available from amongst other the following UK retailers:
