Soundfreaq announces new Lightning dock Sound Step speakers + updated Sound Platform 2

Soundfreaq has announced several new speaker dock models to arrive in spring 2013, including 3 models featuring the new Lightning dock in the Sound Step Lightning, Sound Step Recharge Lightning and the Sound Rise Lightning alarm dock. The new systems will be part of the Soundfreaq CES showing for 2013.

To keep up with the changes from Apple, Soundfreaq are bringing updated models of some of their most popular products, as both the Sound Step / Sound Step Recharge and the Sound Rise alarm clock are updated with a new Lightning dock that support docking of latest iOS models, such as the iPad Mini, iPhone 5 and the latest iPod Touch. As well as receiving Lightning dock support, all systems are also set to get a sound upgrade with the UQ3 spacial sound enhancement.

Joining the new Soundfreaq Lightning dock range is the new and upgraded Sound Platform 2, bringing amongst other dual Bluetooth streaming, allowing you to pair two systems together to perform as one with left and right audio for a true stereo sound. Soundfreaq has also equipped the new Sound Platform with larger drivers, improved bass performance, UQ3 spacial enhancement, and dual USB charging for your devices. An optional rechargeable battery is also set to provide up to 7 hours of playback between charges.
