The little brother of the BTX500, the Sony BTX300 has the same stylish design and most of the same features, but at a reduced overall power output at 20W.
Being the little brother, its footprint is slightly smaller, but perhaps it is the reduced power output that is also part of the reason why Sony advises 2 hours extra playing time between charges (8-hours total) with the BTX300, making it even more portable. The speaker set up includes dual 70mm full range drivers, plus a passive radiator for reduced sound distortion, and S-Master digital amp.
Bluetooth 3.0 technology is used for audio streaming, and with NFC included, compatible devices can get simple one-touch pairing. If your device is not NFC enabled you can simply connect through standard bluetooth pairing. The standard 3.5mm line-in is included, as is a USB charging port allowing you to charge your smartphone/tablet using the power from the BTX300.
