Sony might have introduced one of the first splash proof smartphones in their time, and now they are continuing that trend with a splash proof portable bluetooth speaker in the Sony SRS-BTS50.
The overall design of the SRS-BTS50 might not be as standout as some other solutions we have seen in the portable wireless speaker market in the recent year, but it has a functional design that looks good, including a carabin hook for easy clip-on and carry. The lightweight body is also splash proof, thanks to its mesh fabric and rubber belt, making it a versatile outdoors speaker as well. Pairing is also made easy with NFC connection included for those that have NFC enabled audio devices. Dual mode sound means that you can have the sound directed towards you, or you can tilt the speaker upwards for more of a surround sound experience. The built-in rechargeable battery is said to deliver up to 10-hours of play time.
You can get the Sony SRS-BTS50 portable bluetooth speaker in white, black, red, blue, and pink.
