Sony has delivered another customer favourite with their Sony RDP-X200iP wireless speaker dock, allowing for both the option of Bluetooth streaming as well as docking of your 30-pin connector iPod, iPhone or iPad.
The Sony RDP-X200iP retains the design that has become so popular for Sony speaker docks, offering a tabletop/bookshelf solution that fits in nicely in most settings. The system is finished in black, but with chrome details at the top of the unit to give it an extra exclusive edge, fitting for your Apple device. The docking station itself sits neatly at the bottom center of the speaker, allowing the use of the front panel to work as support for any docked device.
On the inside the RDP-X200iP features 76mm speaker drivers with a total power output of 40W RMS (20W+20W) and Megabass for improved bass performance. This should be powerful enough to rock out in most rooms. Should you have other audio sources that are not Bluetooth enabled or dock friendly, then you can always take advantage of the audio-in jack.
I hope to be back with a hands-on review in the near future, but in the meantime, why not check out some of the great things customers are saying about this product at Amazon.
