Tired of your default iPod/iPhone headphones and looking for a pair of in-ear headphones that won’t break the bank but will upgrade your listening experience? Then you might want to check out the Sennheiser CX 300-II in-ear headphones.
Sennheiser is a well known provider of quality headphones at affordable prices, but with so many models to choose from it can sometimes be difficult to pick the right one. The Sennheiser CX 300-II in-ear headphones are a safe choice for a budget upgrade, and the reason why WhatHiFi awarded them with the best in-ear headphones under £50 award in 2010, calling it a; “no-brainer upgrade”.
They have the familiar Sennheiser in-ear headphone design, small and compact with interchangeable tips to help you get the right fit for your ear-canal. Comfort factor is very good in my opinion and they provide a good level of noise isolation compared to most other in-ear headphones at this price range.
In the sound department i find them to be miles better than the default iPod headphones. The bass levels are good without ruining the higher frequencies. I also found that they seem to perform better over time, so don’t give up on them too early as they seem to improve after a few hours use.
At this price level the Sennheiser CX 300-II in-ear headphones are a bargain in my opinion. They are currently available from amongst other the following UK retailers:
- Amazon UK – from £23
- John Lewis – £29.95
- Play.com – £27.89
- Best Buy – £42.99
- Advanced Headphones – £26.99
