Samsung DA-E750 & DA-E670 Audio Docks does it all, including AirPlay streaming

Samsung has always been a leader in consumer electronics and now they are set to take that expertise to the iPod speaker dock market as well as the company is set to showcase two new multi-device Audio Docks at CES 2012.

It is not just any two new audio docks we are talking about either, but rather two iPod speaker docks that support docking of both Samsung Galaxy devices as well as iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPad and iPod. Like other modern speaker docks there is also the option for wireless streaming through both Apple AirPlay, bluetooth and AllShare streaming.

Samsung DA-E750 Audio Dock

The top model is the Samsung DA-E750, and it is quite the looker, a bit reminiscent of the Vita Audio R4i of the audio dock world. The high gloss wood finish and the details is already landing this dock some admiration amongst the audio and tech community. Perhaps even more interesting than its looks is what is inside; the Samsung proprietary hybrid vacuum tube amplifier technology, marrying together the best of the sharp clarity of a digital amplifier with the rich and warming audiophile sound of vacuum tubes.

Samsung DA-E750 is a 2.1 channel speaker dock with built in subwoofer and 100W of power output. As mentioned, the docking station supports docking of both iOS devices as well as Samsungs own Galaxy range. There is also the option to stream across Apple Airplay, AllShare, and bluetooth. For good measure Samsung has also thrown in analoge (composite) input and a USB port. This is one AirPlay speaker that comes with high expectations.

The Samsung DA-E670 Audio Dock is the little brother as it is not quite as feature rich and has less output power (40W). It has the same overall design, although finished in black, and comes with two speakers and an integrated subwoofer. There is still support for docking a variety of devices, streaming through AirPlay, Allshare, bluetooth, and it comes with an auxiliary input.

Both new Samsung Audio docks will be displayed at their CES 2012 stand next week, and i will be back with more information, pricing, and release dates as soon as the information becomes available.
