Ruark brings out Lightning adaptor for R2i and R4i tabletop speakers

The new Lightning connector has created a bit of a headache for many dock accessory owners. Whilst there are some good alternatives to make old speaker docks wireless, or new Lightning enabled speaker docks entering the market, sometimes you just want to keep your existing speaker dock and a neat way to dock your new Lightning connector iOS device. If you own a Ruark R4i or R2i, then you might be amongst the latter as they are both great systems, so Ruark has now brought out a nifty Lightning dock adaptor for their top models.

The new Lightning Adapter Support from Ruark fits nicely into the existing 30-pin dock situated at the top of the speakers, creating a framework to allow you to use the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter securely with your new iOS device without having to fear that something will break.

Ruark has advised that the Lightning Adapter Support will become available around February time retailing at £7.99. You will also need the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter which costs around £25 (from Apple UK).
