Philips have had great success with their Fidelio range of both speaker docks, and more recently headphones, including the Fidelio L1 headphones, the original Fidelio headphone. With the announced release of the Fidelio S1 and S2 they are bringing the first two in-ear models to the line up.
The entry model Fidelio S1 comprises of high-powered 13.5mm neodymium drivers that are said to deliver a natural and balanced sound, enclosed in a engineered aluminium housing, and with soft silicone tips that are designed to provide a superb fit and natural noise isolation. The cable design is flat to help avoid tangling and features in-line control and mic. You can get your hands on the Fidelio S1 headphones from amongst other Amazon UK at £80.

The big brother Fidelio S2 model also features the same 13.5mm drivers, but with a lightweight copper alloy enclosure and a multi-layered diaphragm that is designed to damp resonance at higher frequencies. That is the main difference between the models, as the S2 as well comes with the flat cable with in-line mic and remote functionality. The Fidelio S2 model should be available now at £130.
