Monster Tron Light Disc speaker dock: Disney & Monster special edition

Big fan of Tron: Legacy? If so you might want to check out the new speaker dock from Disney & Monster; the Tron Light Disc Audio dock with a complimentary Legacy inspired app.

Monster & Disney Tron Light Disc Audio DockThe new Monster Tron Light Disc speaker dock is inspired by the “Identity Disc” found both in the new Tron:Legacy movie from Disney as well as in the original film. In fact it is the high-intensity dual pipe “Identity Disc” lighting rings with microprocessors controlled lighting around the orbital speaker dock that makes it really stand out and connected to the movies.

With it being built by Monster you know that there is going to be some decent audio quality as well, as the Monster Tron Light Disc 2.1 speaker dock features four 1.5-inch drivers and one 3.5-inch long-throw woofer. Combined they are reported to produce crips and clear highs-and mid-range, extended low-end effects, and a room-filling bass.

Staying with the Tron theme, menu icons and 3D motion menu screen are on theme, and combined with the Tron 2.3 Player and Alarm Clock App, you can get a wider sound and visual experience. The app lets you enter the TRON Grid with what is claimed to be the worlds first 3D motion swipe menu. From there you can access an exclusive digital clock, access your music/playlists, eight separate alarm clock settings, or customize your own sound and lighting effects with the Equalizer and Light Setting control panel. When using the apps music player you either way get a Tron inspired special effects lighting show to go with the music, so well worth using the app with the Monster Tron speaker dock.

The Monster Tron Light Disc Audio Dock is compatible with iPhone (1, 3G, 3GS, 4), iPod Nano, and iPod Touch (1-4).
