The headphone market is really hotting up at the moment as several of the big names announced their new headphones at IFA 2011 in Berlin, including new ranges from Klipsch, AKG, TDK, Philips, and Beats by Dre which have announced their new Beats by Dre Mixr headphone .
Headphones are riding a wave of success at the moment, much thanks to the popularity of Apple iDevices and other smartphones, and more manufacturers want to get in on the success Beats by Dre have achieved with their signature line of headphones over recent years. But Beats by Dre are not looking to hand over domination that easily, constantly extending on their offering and collaborations with other artists. One of those headphones is the Beats Mixr, targeting both the budding DJ and the traveler.
Beats by Dre teamed up with DJ superstar David Guetta to launch the Beats by Dre Mixr headphones, specially designed for DJ’s featuring ear cups that swivel 180 degrees. The Mixr headphones are also travel friendly with their foldable design and light weight, with dual 3.5mm input for daisy chaning audio with friends. Beats Mixr falls nicely into the range of great over-ear headphones from Dr.Dre and company.
