Klipsch are at CES 2012 with 3 new AirPlay enabled sound systems this year, confirming that the company is fully embracing AirPlay streaming for the future.
The 3 new Klipsch AirPlay speakers will join the Klipsch Gallery G-17 which has just been launched here in the UK sometime this fall.
Klipsch RoomGroove Air is the smallest of the new AirPlay speakers from Klipsch, and comes with dual 1-inch tweeters and 2.5-inch woofers.
Moving up the scale you have an interesting looking Klipsch Stadium, a speaker solution that resembles stadium style speakers and features dual 1-inch horn-loaded tweeters, 3-inch mid-range woofers, and a 5.25-inch subwoofer. Should be able to produce a powerful sound for the home.
Taking it all to the next level is the Klipsch Console, a multifunctional 2.1- channel sound system with plug n’ play features for tv, music and movies. Streaming over Airplay is just one of the features on this sound system as it also features HDMI optical and USB input. This sizeable unit can be what the home theater fans are looking for, with its dual 90″x60″ Tractrix Horns with 1.75-inch titanium dome, high compression drivers, 10-inch woofers, and 12-inch fibreglass subwoofer.
If the Klipsch Console is the system you have been waiting for you will have to wait until winter 2012, whilst the two other models are expected out this fall. I will be back with more information on each system, including prices, when availalble.
