While updating our best price ipod tables today we decided to test the price on the iPod Touch 32gb here in the UK compared to in the US. We decided to go with Amazon in both countries as the benchmarking, also because they tend to be among the lowest priced in both markets.
The current price for the iPod Touch at Amazon UK is £294, while in the US you would pay $468 for the same iPod Touch 32gb. With todays currency convertion rate that means that the US ipod touch 32gb price in GBP would be £240, a whopping £54 difference in price that the UK consumer pays in premium for the iPod Touch 32gb.
