The Vestalife Firefly is already an award winning iPod/iPhone speaker dock snapping up the Innovation Award at CES 2010, proving once again that they understand how to create speaker docks that complement the design and coolness of the iPod and iPhone itself.

The Vestalife Firefly iPod speaker dock takes the concepts we have seen before with the Ladybug models, taking design inspiration from bugs and creating interesting looking speaker docks that proving a hit with both experts and the public. The latest models, including the Vestalife Firefly is also slightly bigger then earlier models, measuring 6.25″ in diameter that increases to 10″ when wings are open, meaning there is more room for an even better and more powerful sound from what is sure to be a topseller.
There is also options in terms of color finish for the Vestalife Firefly, available in metallic red, black, and silver, but the feature that makes it stand out is still the bug inspired speaker wings that fold out. When the wings are opened up it reveals the iPod/iPhone dock itself, while in the back of the Firefly you find a subwoofer, and it also features a digital amplifier and touch controls.
Compatible with the iPod Classic, iPod Touch, and all 3 generation of the iPhone so far, the Vestalife Firefly covers the majority of the iPod/iPhone market, and the unit can also be used as a portable iPod speaker as it can operate on both AC power as well as on batteries (four AA batteries).
