Back to the 80’s with Jean-Michel Jarre designed iPod speaker dock
By admin • Oct 22nd, 2008 • Category: iPod Speaker DocksIs your favourite iPod playlist filled with music from the 80’s? Then you might want to get your hands on this Jean-Michel Jarre iPod speaker that is designed by the famous 80’s electronical artist.

The design is quite interesting as it looks like one of those popular garden heaters, in a nicer design. Personally i was expecting to see that the speaker dock also had lava lamp functionality!
The iPod speaker Aerosystem is at the moment only available in France, but then again if you like it that much it might be worth the cost of combining a little weekend getaway in France with purchasing this 80’s inspired iPod speaker system. Roughly retail price is about £400 (€450).
According to a blog article from Wired, it is quite interesting that this latest entry into the iPod speaker dock family comes from a person that has made it his mission to improve our music experience and save us from the poor audio quality of the mp3 player. We look forward to testing the AeroSystem iPod speaker designed by Jean-Michel Jarre to see if the sound experience can compete with some of the leading iPod speaker docks in the market, like the B&W Zeppelin which is in the same price class.
