Gear 4 is no stranger when it comes to developing iPod speaker docks, delivering such speaker docks as the Gear4 Duo. Now their latest model, the KRG-D50 also delivers on another customer want, WAP radio.

Earlier Gear 4 speaker docks have all just featured normal FM radio, while now the new model KRG-D50 brings DAB radio to the table for this iPod speaker dock. Some of the features of this new Gear 4 speaker dock are:

• 12/24 hour alarm clock with  2 programmable alarms allowing you to wake up to either DAB or FM radio, or to your favourite song of your iPod
• Snooze and sleep functions
• 20 programmable preset radio stations
• LCD display screen
• audio line-in port for other external players

The price point of the Gear4 KRG-D50 is not bad either considering it features DAB radio, with expected retail price of £79.99 when it hits UK markets at the end of June. We will come back with further information on where to buy it once it hits markets.
