We have written about the Gear4 DUO speaker dock before when we first heard about the latest model from the British electronic producer Gear4. Since then it has become available on the UK market through Dixons retailing at £129.99.

The Gear4 DUO is truly a unique iPod speaker system with some great features and is  a very good iPod speaker system for its price range. With its unique DUO design it combines a powerful 20 watt subwoofer with a detachable portable front panel that runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, allowing you to take the music with you around the house.
