Gear4 DUO iPod speaker dock review: Dual portable fun

We have written about the Gear4 DUO speaker dock before when we first heard about the latest model from the British electronic producer Gear4.

The Gear4 DUO is truly a unique iPod speaker system with some great features afor its price. With its unique DUO design it combines a powerful 20 watt subwoofer with a detachable portable front panel that runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, allowing you to take the music with you around the house.

The patented seamless sound technology allows the satellite speaker to be easily docked with the bass unit that will deliver a bass rich audio experience.

The portability is definitely one of the key strenghts of this unit, as the combination of a decent home sound compared with a portable part for taking to the park or other places, makes it stand out from many of the other competitors in the market.
