4/5Intempo was among the first to introduce DAB radio to a speaker dock in their Intempo RDI DAB stereo dock, targeting digital radio hungry Apple iPod owners out there.
This new RDI ipod speaker from Intempo is the first one to come loaded with DAB digital radio. The retractable dock tray suits most Apple iPod’s and iPhones, and the integrated DAB/FM means you can switch between listening to your own tunes or random songs from your favourite radio stations.
Its design is quite traditional for a speaker dock with the retractable dock sitting at the front and center of the unit, with all physical controls sitting alongside it. It is a fairly small unit that will work great in the bedroom, dorm room, or the kitchen.
Inside you find mid-range 30-watt speakers and a 15-watt subwoofer to give you that extra power in the sound, which otherwise is fairly well balanced and nice for a speaker dock. Digital radio works great on the unit and switching between is easy to0.
If you are after a good quality speaker dock with DAB without breaking the bank, then you should consider adding the Intempo RDI to your shortlist.
