The new features of iTunes 8
By admin • Sep 12th, 2008 • Category: Apple iPod, Music and itunesOne of the announcement on Tuesdays iPod conference in San Francisco was the release of the new and improved iTunes 8 with some new and interesting features, especially the Genius playlist functionalilty.Genius may not be a revolutionary functionality that will change your life and music library forever, but it is a nice to have that gives you more options for listening to your music both on your computer as well as on your iPod. They way Genius works is that it will automatically build a playlist based on any given song you listen to. It will also tell you about similar artists and songs that might not be in your music library but is available on iTunes for downloading. A great way to introduce you to new artists, as well as a great sales tool for Apple!

There is also new features to the way iTunes can display your library, such as the new grid view and some features that we are yet to explore in the iTunes store.
Overall it is well worth downloading the new iTunes 8.
