While a guest on tv show ‘This Morning’ UK prime minister Gordon Brown talked about the importance of innovation and keeping British talent in the country to become more attractive for international companies to set up base in the UK.
However, prime minister Brown might have taken his mouth full when using the Apple iPod as an example of inventions made by Brits. Although Mr Brown was thinking about the role of design engineer Jonathan Ive, the Brit who was the mind behind the casing and the packaging of the Apple iPod.
Gordon Brown should however be aware that being part of the design is not the same as actually inventing the product. So it looks like the prime minister will have to find another great UK invention for his next apperance.
