Price drop on ipod touch rumour from Apple

By admin • Feb 10th, 2008 • Category: iPod Touch

The Apple news site 9to5Mac says they have received a tip that Apple will be  dropping the prices on ipod touch and the iphone by $100 (about £50) within the coming two months.

The ipod touch price drop tip also talks about how it might be announced during the February 26th launch of the Ipod touch and iphone SDK event, which is the Apple software development kit allowing developers to create approved third party applications for Apple’s handheld platform.

This also comes in wake of the $200 price drop on the iPhone weeks ago to combat a slow down in sales of the iPhone, and the recent announcement of the launch of the 32gb ipod touch and the 16gb of the iphone.

We will keep you posted on any further developments around this.
