New iPod with firealarm
By admin • Aug 21st, 2008 • Category: Apple iPod, iPod NanoWith all the news lately about iPod Nano’s bursting into flames it could be a good idea for Apple to introduce a new firealarm functionality on their coming iPod range.
Apple has recently confirmed that there has been rare occassions where the battery has been faulty and made the iPod Nano turn into sparks, shifting the blame over to a single battery supplier. The fire sparks have happened with the iPod Nano getting charged and has left he player twisted, melted and unusuable in most instances.
According to AFP, Apple is now offering to replace the batteries on the iPod Nano’s that have been sold with the potential faulty batteries in Japan between 2005 and 2006, which is potentially 1.8 million iPods.
So perhaps we have to place firealarm functionality on our wishlist for the next generation iPod.
