Blink and your ipod will reply
By admin • Mar 4th, 2008 • Category: Apple iPodA student at Osaka University in Japan has created a remote control for your ipod that can be controlled with the wink on an eye.
The KomeKami Switch or Temple Switch as it is also called reacts to skin movement when a person is deliberately blinking through a censor in the glasses or headphones. The signals are then translated by a micro computer that communicates with your Apple ipod.
The controls are apparently to wink strongly with one eye to rewind, then wink strongly with the other eye to skip track, and blink with both to pause and play.
If this takes off there might be a lot of winking happening on public transport in the future!
