Apple to create an iPod ecosystem with latest wireless patent

According to iPodNN one of the latest patent applications from Apple is a very comprehensive one that entails all normal use of the iPod and iPhone, but also all connected material such as iPod docks and other devices.

What makes the patent stand out is that it implies wireless possibilities that is currently not available on the iPod, such as bluetooth, radio signals, infrared or UWB. This means that in the future media could be shared between iPods and other devices wirelessly without any additional third party applications or accessories.
