A few new iPod patenst for Apple

Among the patents now approved is the iPod nano design as it has been pending since 2006, a nano-sized dock insert, and the latest version of the Apple ipod earbuds, which unlike the predecessor use foamless more rounded earpieces with a shorter jack connector.
