Apple updates iPod Nano 4G and iPod Classic
By admin • Nov 14th, 2008 • Category: iPod Classic, iPod NanoThis week Apple released updates to the iPod Nano 4G and iPod Classic 120GB firmware to fix some reported issues following the launch of the updated iPod Nano and Classic back in September.
The 4G iPod Nano release includes updates that fixes the players instability when used with the iPod Nike+ sport kit and a problem with Cover Flow art that becomes distorted after playing a slideshow with Tv out. The fix also sorts out the problem with distorted images when the 4G iPod Nano wakes from sleep function.
The release also gives both the iPod Nano 4G and the iPod Classic support for Apple’s new earphones and the new in-ear headphones with mic and remote, and a fix for the saving genius playlist issue.
The updates to the 4G iPod Nano and the iPod Classic is available through iTunes when the iPod is plugged in.
On TestFreaks (who analyses most reviews) Apple iPod Nano 4G has scored 6.4 out of 10 with top reviews coming from TrustedReviews, Register Hardware etc..
