It might not have the same punch as the iTunes App Store for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, but Notecasts.com is now delivering applications for the iPod Classic and the iPod Nano, giving users a new and interesting solution for their favourite gadgets.

Notecasts.com is a digital download store allowing individuals and companies to create their own notecasts and download other notecasts from a growing selection of titles and applications.  The notecasts works by getting downloaded to the ‘notes’ functionality of the iPod Classic and iPod Nano, operating as a multimedia presentation of interactive text and content varying from audio to video.

On the Notecasts.com website you can find out lots more information about how to develop your own notecasts and get them approved, as well as information about when the service will be launched.
