O2 price on Pay As You Go 3G iPhone leaked

By admin • Jun 27th, 2008 • Category: iPhone

The people at TechWatch picked up on what was either a deliberate slip up or an accidental release of details around the price of PAYG for 3G iPhone when it hits the UK market in July.

Pay As You Go customers with O2 will be looking at paying around £300 for the 8gb 3G iPhone without a contract, but upgrading to the 16gb iPhone version will only cost you about £60 more, so around £360.  Considering the price of iPod Touch that is not a bad offer at all, especially not considering that the deal supposedly also includes six months free and unlimited WiFi hotspot access.

Apparently the details got posted on the O2 website only for a brief moment, but obviously long enough that some people picked up on it.
