O2 expects shortage of 3G iPhone for some time yet
By admin • Jul 26th, 2008 • Category: iPhoneThrough their website O2 is warning their customers that the new 3G iPhone will be in short supply for some time yet following a launch that saw all available iPhone 3G handsets being sold in record time.
They further explain that they are receiving weekly shipments of the new iPhone from Apple, but that it is just not at a volume that covers the demand from the UK consumer.
It is not only in the UK that there is a shortage of supply for the new iPhone, as similar reports are coming in from around the world. Analysts predicts that it will be well into August before we might see supply starting to catch up to demand.
