By admin • Jul 7th, 2008 • Category: iPhone

With only 4 days left until the release of the 3G iPhone there has still not been an official release from Apple regarding the iPhone Application Store launch.

As software developers in all sizes have been working hard for months on creating those great new applications for the iPhone, we can only hope the news that today, the 7th of July, the deadline for submitting your application for approval in time for the launch of the new application store is a sign that the launch is just around the corner.

According to the Apple2.0 blog on CNNMoney over 25,000 people have applied to be part of the iPhone developers program, and 4,000 of them were admitted. We can expect to see a large variety of new applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch going forward, including applications from the likes of Electronic Arts and many other Fortune 500 companies.
