The latest shopping application to reach the iPhone and iPod Touch market comes from no other than leading online retailer Amazon.com and is set to give users one click access to purchase thousands of products from Amazon.com and other leading retailers, including their innovative new feature “Amazon Remembers“.

The news that Amazon.com has released their new shopping application for the iPhone and the iPod Touch in the US through the iTunes Application Store is good news for all avid online shoppers, as it gives us access to purchase products from the leading online retailer directly through the application.

The shopping application also features a brand new experimental feature called Amazon Remembers, helping you to keep track of items you see day to day, and even matching photos of products to actual products at their online store. Simply take a photo with your iPhone of the item, upload the photo to the application, and get matching results back with one-click to shop.

Unfortunately the Amazon shopping application is only available for US consumers at the moment, but we are sure that it is only a matter of time before they roll it out for the UK market as well, and once it is available we will be back with a full review.
