In anticipation of the expected launch of the new 3G iPhone in the US today it has been reported that it should be available in the UK by next month (July/August).We won’t repeat what we have already written about the features of the new 3g iPhone, but what is new is that for the top users it might be free. Apple will apparently change their business model for the new 3G iPhone slightly, so if you are on the premium £75 a month rate from O2 you will get the new iPhone for free.
Unfortunately that is not a rate i would personally like to be on at the moment, but Apple is free to send me a new 3G iPhone for free if they feel like it!
