Free WiFi for all UK iPhone users - Thank Starbucks and BT Openzone
By admin • Apr 20th, 2009 • Category: iPhone accessoriesiPhone owners that loves coffee is getting a great deal as Starbucks is kitting out their 600+ UK coffeeshops with BT Openzone Wifi, and giving it away for free to all iPhone owners with an O2 contract across the UK and Ireland (Macworld).
As 678 Starbucks coffeeshops across the UK will be joining BT Openzone they will make WiFi accessible for free to iPhone O2 customers, which now takes the total number of hotspots available to iPhone owners to 8,000 across the UK. It is however a shame that it will not be made available to iPod Touch owners as well.
As a regular coffee drinker with a T-Mobile contract i have been able to use their hotspots at Starbucks for free, so now curious if that will change.
