As Apple is preparing for their annual Worldwide Developers Conference starting the 8th June, the market is increasingly preparing themselves for the next iPhone. Whether it be called iPhone 3G Pro or iPhone HD, the anticpitation is clear – the market expects improved processing and screen from the next generation iPhone.
In a recent article from BusinessWeek concerning the much rumored Hulu application for the iPhone and Hulu’s deal with Disney about content, they refer to information received from a person close to Apple’s plans who talks about the ease of which one can record and edit video with the new device, and the sharp output that can be seen on the devices screen, hinting at both video recording capabilities as well as improved screen for viewing, perhaps even high definition capabilities.
In a string of comments at theiPhoneblog article they also talk about what an “improved screen” might refer to. One solution that would make sense would be improved screen by using OLED, that would also ease some pressure on battery capability that might take a hit with improved processing and perhaps video functionality.
In the build up to the much anticipated event in San Francisco where there is a good chance Apple will get up and announce the next generation iPhone, and hopefully it will be close to an all singing all dancing iPhone that includes an improved camera with video functionality, improved memory and battery life, improved internet speed, and whatever else comes on the back of it is a bonus.
We will continue to follow the developments leading up to the June 8th WWDC event.
