iHome iDL45 Lightning enabled dual alarm clock radio

iHome iDL45 alarm lightning speaker dock

The iHome IDL45 is a new dual alarm clock Lightning dock from iHome that lets you charge, listen, and wake up to your latest iOS / iPod device. The design is familiar with what we have seen from iHome before, and in addition to the new Lightning dock, they have also fitted the IDL45 with a USB connection, allowing you to charge two devices at the same time, as iHome must have picked up on the fact that many of us own more than one iDevice.

iHome iDL45 alarm lightning speaker dock

As any good alarm clock dock these days, the iDL45 will allow you to set your wake up alarm to any song, playlist, or FM radio station that you might fancy. Auto syncing ensures that the dock picks up the time from your docked device. Other features includes 6 FM presets, EQ controls, and 3D sound with the iHome Reason8® sound technology.

iHome Audio iDL45 with lightening connector.

    Summary
    Excellent sound and functions.

iPhone 5 only fits with NO case. The lightening plug does not sit high enough to allow a thin case at the base.

USB Dock/Calbe will work with iPad, or IPhone. Also good if you have old device with 30 pin connector to fit via USB cable.

A good but expensive buy for a clock radio that will work with the latest iphone/ipad.

    UPDATE….

iHome audio pulled this product today.

It was on the market about two weeks.
No reason so far as why it is a “No longer Available” product.

Maybe they are releasing the iDL100.
