Nostalgic UK preferring the old vinyl ways
By admin • May 27th, 2008 • Category: iPodSeveral experts have lately proclaimed the death of the cd-single as it has been replaced by digital downloads, but the UK is hanging on to old technology by preferring the old school vinyl over the Apple iPod.
Research from price-comparison service Moneysupermarket.com has found that vinyl, CDs, VHS and Polaroid cameras are still close to the hearts of average UK population. Could this be a sign that there is a lack of technological innovation in the UK?
For a music lover however, vinyl has its advantages in quality of sound, but i would never replace my iPod for a vinyl collection. If i did it would be for the value of the collection so i could sell it and get even more ipod accessories.
