At the beginning of the new year JVC announced a new range of ultra slim HDTV LCD tv’s with integrated ipod dock, the x-series. The new range was revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The four new HDTV x-series models with built in ipod dock will include three 1080p models covering 42, 47 and 52 inches, in addition to a 32inch set offering 768p video. The two smallest sets are expected to be in the market by march, retail price unknown as of today, but we will get back to you as soon as we have list of retailers and prices. The larger models are expected closer to summer. These are the US release dates as per press release from JVC.

The JVC HDTV will offer a spesific menu when the ipod is docked giving you full control over music and video through the remote control.
This new range of LCD HDTV from JVC will also be among the thinnest in the market, being less than 3 inches thick.
Competition is expected from new models from Pioneer and Sharp.
