Apple has confirmed the special event for 27th January where they are likely to announce the Apple Tablet / iSlate. The theme of the event is “come see our latest creation” indicating that we are indeed talking about a brand new product from Apple.

The WSJ recently wrote that the much rumored iSlate Tablet from Apple will hit markets in March in what looks like a planned leak of information from Apple, a strategy often used by Apple and other companies to gauge interest or test pricing in the market amongst other.

Apple iSlate has appeared as the hot favourite to be the name of the yet to be confirmed Apple Tablet solution following news that Apple is the owner of the domain name iSlate.com. But there could be other explanations as we wait for possible January 2010 release.

Few products have received so much coverage before even being confirmed as the Apple Tablet, and as we are approaching a new year the latest rumor is that we will have to wait a bit longer as they want to put OLED screens on the Apple Tablet. Find out more here.
