The Bose Soundlink has been one of the best and most popular portable bluetooth speakers over the recent years, and now Bose has launched the next generation Soundlink speaker, promising louder and better performance than ever before. Meet the Bose Soundlink 3.
Bose was amongst the first to introduce the smartcover for speakers, but in the third generation Soundlink they have moved away from the original, slightly slanted design with the smartcover, and instead gone for a more curved box design that looks both modern and in-line with what we have come to expect from Bose. You still get the same aluminum body with slate/black trimmings around the bottom and the top. The flat top holds the control buttons, such as volume and power. Should you want to inject some color into your Soundlink 3, it can be done through optional colored sleeves in grey, blue, orange, or pink.
According to Bose, the new Soundlink III plays longer and louder than any of its predecessors, while maintaining the clarity and depth that you expect from a Bose speaker. This is done by having improved 4 x neodymium transducers with dual-opposing passive radiators that are supported by a new DSP and improved electronics. Improved battery providing up to 14 hours of playtime between charges also helps makes this 10 x 5 x 2 inch speaker a portable force to be reckoned with in the bluetooth speaker market. In addition to bluetooth streaming the Soundlink 3 includes aux in and micro usb port.
