I don’t know about you, but Bang & Olufsen audio products always fees very inspiring, and the new wireless noise-cancelling H8 headphones are no exception, bringing the beauty of the H6 headphones with the more advanced technological features.
The B&O BeoPlay H8 headphones feature the same combination of aluminum, sheepskin, and leather finish that makes the design stand out as well as provide a high comfort factor for long usage (think long travels, commutes, and chillin at home). B&O have not skimped on the quality material for these headphones, but they have still been able to keep them quite light at 255g, which is impressive considering their noise-cancelling and wireless capabilities, all features that normally add additional weight to the headphones.

According to Bang & Olufsen we are also looking at 14 hours playtime between charges of the built-in rechargeable battery, and that is with the noise-cancelling feature turned on. They have even been nice enough to make the rechargeable battery replaceable, so you could have a spare one with you when 14 hours just isn’t enough.
The outside an0dised aluminum cups are not just stylish, as the right ear cup also features the touch interface that allows you to control elements such as answering calls, adjust volume, skip songs etc. Having tested the sheepskin pad of the H6 model, I expect the earcups of the on-ear H8 to be just as comfortable.
Early reports indicate that we can expect a warm and rich sound from the H8 headphones, with a good level of outside noise cancellation. Personally, I can’t wait to give these headphones a go and will be back with the full hands-on review as soon as i’ve had a chance to use them for a week or so.
The B&O H8 headphones are now available in the UK in two models; Gray Hazel and Argilla Bright.
