It looks like Azatom is set to deliver their first AirPlay speaker in the near future, and according to information on their website, it looks like we will be in for a powerful and compact AirPlay speaker.
For those not familiar with Azatom, a fairly new brand on the speaker dock market, they already have a wide range of speaker docks on the market, including the top model Azatom iBigboy 2. I have had the pleasure of reviewing quite a few of their systems over the last couple of years, and one thing they all have in common is quality build, power, and value for money. Based on the information available so far about their AirPlay speaker, it looks like they will continue this trend.
The Azatom AirPlay speaker is set to have a sealed cabinet design and boast 250W of power output across dual crossover speakers, one active subwoofer, and dual passive subs. The system uses Class-HD amp and advanced DSP (Digital Sound Processing) chip that also works as an Amp Controller.
I will be back with more information on the Azatom AirPlay speaker in the coming weeks, and hopefully a hands-on review as well.
