A well diversed presidential iPod - The Barack Obama Playlist

US presidential candidate Barack Obama has revealed his favourite iPod Playlist to Rolling Stone magazine. In an interview about youth and his priorities if he becomes president they also talked about his iPod listening habits, which includes many legendary artist, some of them also big supporters of his campaign.

To be in touch with the youth of America he is listening to the likes of Jay Z, Q-tip and Ludacris, but also stressing that he is worried about the effect on his kids and other kids in America by some of the lyrics in rap songs.

But Barack Obama is clearly a fan of the legends as his iPod is loaded to the brim with music from Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones, and jazz legends such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Charlie Parker… talk about a presidential highlight reel of an iPod Playlist!

He highlighted Bob Dylan’s ‘Maggie’s Farm’ as one of his favourites for the political season, and also expressed how proud he was of the outspoken support of his candidacy from the likes of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.

Should Obama become the next president of the United States it looks like there will be some great tunes coming out of the Oval Office!
