The late Christmas gifts that keep on giving

With the UK snow creating havoc and delayed deliveries of late bought Christmas presents for thousands of people, there are still some great options for those that are late with their Christmas shopping – digital gift cards.

For all the iPhone, iPod, and Apple iPad owners out there, as well as millions of others using other gadgets, content is as important as the device itself. The technology would not be much if it was not for all the digital music, apps, and ebooks that can be bought and download in minutes. Digital content is the gift that keeps on giving all Christmas and well into the new year.

Here are some of the late but great Christmas gift ideas that will give enjoyment and choice for the lucky recipient.

Amazon Gift Card

With something as simple as a gift card from Amazon UK you can give the recipient the gift of choice. Imagine being able to minutes after opening your gift being able to go online to download that ebook that you wanted, or that album you want to listen to, or even order that accessory that you wanted for delivery at the earliest possible time.

iTunes Gift Card

Gift cards to iTunes can be bought from most places these days, like supermarkets, gas stations etc. and of course from iTunes itself. An iTunes gift card can be used to pay for digital content from iTunes, be it music, movies, books, and of course applications.

An iTunes Gift Card can give the recipient the opportunity to download a wide variety of games for example from the iTunes App Store.

I know that many people still see gift cards almost as receiving cash for Christmas – not the same as a wrapped up gift under the three. But if you are so unsure about what to get that you have still not bought it then perhaps giving them the choice is the best option.
