Nocs have received a lot of interest in their NS2 Air Monitor AirPlay speakers and just before Christmas they also announced that the NS2 now feature AirPlay Direct support through a firmware upgrade.
For those unfamiliar with AirPlay Direct, it basically allows the speakers to create their own Wi-Fi network when no other network is available, allowing you to still stream your audio from your iOS device or iTunes on your computer/mac.
Adding the AirPlay Direct functionality allows customers to take the Nocs NS2 Air Monitors with them to places where there is not necessarily a Wi-Fi network to connect them to.
